Naomi Tickle is a world renowned face reading expert and author of You Can Read A Face Like A Book.. She is the founding president of Face Language International and has established training centers here in the United States and England. She was first introduced to Physiognomy (face reading) in 1981. Amazed by the accuracy, Naomi felt this was an opportunity to help others unravel their lives. She works with individuals in career transition both in person and with photographs from all over the world. Her clients state their profile is 92% plus accurate. Most excellent material. Although people are generally unpredictable, a person can, in a good many cases, really know how someone else is feeling and know what they are thinking by external signs. This book gives a surprising amount of information.

If you are going to review a book it helps to read it first!

This is a very attractive book, both to look at and to handle, and the amount of information packed into it is amazing.I found it a fascinating read, and far removed from the type of book both Per Bothner and B. Nainoa Prestcott seem to think it is. To review a book before one has read it seems hardly fair! Incidentally, far from being racist, the author points out in her introduction that Face Reading applies to all cultures, and in fact the only reference to 'skin' as such, deals not with it's colour, but with the degree of tighness over the face.

The book is divided into thirteen chapters well-illustrated with attractive line drawings. The first twelve each deal with a single feature e.g. The Eyes, The Nose, The Head, etc. The author explains that the natural variations between people of all these features can be 'read' and correlated with the individual personality 'traits' which we all possess.

Chapter 13 gives a useful summary of the content of the book and guidlines for helping one to apply what one has learned to one's own life. There is also a fully illustrated section on combining features into personality 'trait clusters'to give a more accurate reading, and a full glossary and index. I do feel that it would be helpful here if there were also photographs showing various personality types to supplement the excellent line drawings.

Almost anyone is likely to find something in this book that brings them up short and makes them look again with fresh eyes at the people around them. The author takes her subject seriously, but this does not detract from the fact that apart from acting as a self-help manual, this book would make a very attractive present.

Improve your quality of life with concentration

Tunney covers all aspects of life and relates the ability to concentrate with each of them. Concentration affects your mental, physical, and emotional health. He touches on being more organized and limiting the amount of time you spend with technology. It was interesting to learn how talking therapy can increase this ability as well. And of course, certain vitamins and foods play a significant role in your ability to concentrate. One more reason to eat blueberries more regularly.

This book went into yoga and meditation quite a bit. You'll learn different poses and techniques to practice and incorporate into daily routines. They are truly helpful. There are various academic studies Tunney cites to support the effectiveness of these unique techniques.

I had heard this one before--but chewing gum helps you concentrate and therefore makes you smarter!

The only reason I didn't give this book the full five stars is because there are some grammatical errors that made some sections difficult to read, but you won't be disappointed or confused. This book is filled with advice for improving yourself and your well being!

I must admit I was a bit sceptical at first when I saw this book. I thought: ' o no, another self-help bla bla bla', but the description convinced me and I also liked the intro so I decided to buy it. Glad I did! The author does a good job offering a holistic overview of natural strategies that you can apply to improve your concentration. As a wellness coach I must say I resonate with this author and the chapter dedicated to nutrition is just great! Always happy to find authors with passion for their work. On a personal note- this ebook helped to get back on track. I just found myself not really 'following through what I preach' and I am happy I came across this brilliant, healthy reminder that this ebook offered me.

Great information for anyone who wants to get more done and be more productive!

This book is full of all sorts of great ideas for getting focused. I especially like the idea of cleaning up the workplace and creating an inbox with everything that needs to get done, and getting rid of all the other clutter. I also like the list of brain enhancing foods in the book and definitely plan to start eating more of them. This book also includes a variety of other methods for improving your concentration such as exercise, meditation, and brain focusing exercises. A highly recommended read.

Bill Madonna has been a PGA teaching professional for 30 years and is currently the director of instruction for the National Association of Golf Coaches and Educators (NAGCE), which he also founded. Madonna is a teaching consultant for the National Golf Foundation and serves as the national golf coach for Bermuda. He has also owned and operated the Bill Madonna Golf Academy since 1975.

Madonna has earned the Teacher of the Year award and has been chosen by GOLF Magazine as one of the Top 100 Teaching Professionals in America for the last three years.

He and his wife, Bonnie, live in Orlando, Florida.

Wish they would update it!

I haven't made it through this whole book yet, but so far it has been pretty helpful. It's about 15 years old, so some things are outdated, but there is still a lot of very useful information in it. If you're a golf coach, I definitely recommend buying this book.

A Good Read for the New Coach

I've been coaching golf at an area High School for a few years. It is one of the most rewarding jobs I have ever had the pleasure to perform. It is often true that, as a coach, you will have to work with a student who golfs better then you do. In such circumstances, what do you say? How do you coach these kids? How do you get them to play their best game?

As a coach, you have to be able to reach every kid on the team. If your not a scratch golfer (I'm not), the only way to reach every kid is to increase what you know about the game. For me, that means spending the winter reading golf books, looking for wisdom, information, practice drills, all those things that serve as keys to successful coaching.

This book provides a quick start guide to people who are just starting to coach students in golf (the reason for only three stars - I need more). Many of the lessons are intuitively obvious to those of us that have been coaching for a while or who have read a number of golf books. The advantage to the new coach reading this book is that it gives a detailed picture of what they need to be doing at every level ... structuring your golf program, safety/liability, recruiting/retaining, fundraising/costs, practices, and getting players to excel at both the physical and mental game. The book makes it sound easy. It's not. It's work ... work that I love to do.

The book presents a number of useful examples and forms that can make your first year a whole lot simpler. It is a great place to start to develop your own golf program.

This book has a lot of good ideas. Some are more for coaching at a higher level. I am a high school coach at a school that gets mostly beginners and was still able to get some good ideas from it.

This book is the single best resource for learning the internal quality auditing skill. It take a very pragmatic and simple approach to this subject, that is often presented as a mystical activity. Mr. Arter has stuck the basics here, emphasizing the importance of the relevance and significant of findings cited, and explaining how to present findings in a supportable manner.
